2 boneless chicken breasts
½ cup of ground almond flour/meal
1 tbsp paprika
½ tsp of cayenne pepper
1 tsp of garlic powder
½ tsp of salt
½ tsp of black pepper
1 tsp of dried oregano
1 tsp of dried basil
Low Carb Chicken Tenders
Crispy & herby, and very easy to make.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
Add the dry ingredients to a bowl (almond flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, dried oregano and dried basil) and mix.
Cut the chicken length-ways into long 1/2 inch thick strips.
One by one, put the chicken strips into the almond flour mixture making sure that you press down so that the seasoning mix coats the chicken.
Lay the chicken pieces on parchment paper and put the chicken in the oven.
Cook the chicken for around 25-30 minutes. (Your oven might vary, so be sure to check the chicken often and not overdo the chicken. Either way, it should be white and juicy on the inside)
Season with some salt and black pepper and serve with your favourite condiment.
